Image Credit: Bunker Holding Bunker Holding , the world's largest marine fuels firm by sales volumes , saw a 59% gain in its pre-tax earnings in the 2025/26 financial year. The firm reported pre-tax earnings of $73 million in the year to April 30 , it said in an emailed statement on Tuesday , up from $46 million in pre-tax earnings from continuing operations in 2024/25 . The 2024/25 figure excluded a write-down from discontinued operations of about $36 million related to the shutdown of its onshore cargo trading unit PSTV Cargo . In 2023/24 Bunker Holding reported EBT of $127 million , but this figure excluded another PSTV Cargo-related write-down of about $125 million . Image Credit: Ship & Bunker Over the past five years the company has posted average annual EBT of $114.3 million , while over the past ten years the average was $95 million . In 2026/27 the company expects to see 'intense market competition' as well as further investment in decarbonisation, it said. Revenue Decline Revenues in 2025/26 reached $13.1 billion , down by 4% on the year. The firm cited lower average oil prices across the whole year as the primary reason for this decline, despite the recent surge in prices linked to the war in Iran.
