Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has terminated a contract for one of its construction support vessels. DOF said in an Oslo Bors filing that it terminated the contract for the 2018-built Skandi Implementer. According to the company, the vessel was operating in Mexico and the deal was terminated following payment default. The name of the client was not revealed. The vessel has previously worked with Blue Marine Group and supported Pemex’s operation in the country while it was part of Maersk Supply Service’s fleet under the name Maersk Implementer. DOF bought Maersk Supply Service last year in a deal worth $1.1bn. DOF’s recent fleet status shows that the vessel was set to work in Mexico until the end of April 2026.
