This is one of the large-scale LNG shipments received by PV GAS in 2026, contributing to supplementing the clean fuel supply for gas-fired power plants. According to the plan, the next LNG shipment is expected to arrive at the port on June 17-18 with a volume of approximately 15,000 tons of LNG from Australia. PV GAS is also expediting the procedures to select a supplier for the LNG shipment expected to be delivered in early July, serving the needs of PV Power, thereby further strengthening the fuel supply for the domestic gas-fired power system. Simultaneously, the vessel CLIPPER WILMA also docked at the port, bringing approximately 45,000 tons of LPG imported from the United States to Vietnam. This shipment contributes to strengthening storage capacity and ensuring a stable supply of LPG for domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors during a period of high demand. The volume of imported LPG arranged for June and July is approximately 140,000 tons (including chilled LPG and pressurized LPG), together with domestic production, ensuring that all domestic customer needs as well as the nationwide LPG business system under the Petrovietnam Gas brand are met.
