Malaysian offshore services player Tanjung Offshore, part of T7 Global, has won a one-year work order from the subsidiary of Petronas Carigali, Vestigo Petroleum. In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said the contract is for the disconnection and transportation of the FPSO Berantai from its offshore field. It will also tow the vessel to a designated dry dock facility for maintenance and reconnect and commission all associated systems to restore full operational capability once the dry-docking works are completed. According to Tanjung Offshore, the work order is effective from March 18, 2026, to March 18, 2027. The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending December 31, 2026, and onwards until the expiry of the contract. The 207-meter-long FPSO Berantai was converted from a 1983-built tanker and deployed in 2012 on the Berantai field, some 150 km offshore Peninsular Malaysia.
