Mainport Shipping has secured funding from the Eurazeo Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure (ESMI) Fund for the construction of its Geo Master hybrid survey and ROV support vessel. The vessel is being built by the Neptune Construction yard in the Netherlands. It is set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to be operational by mid-March of the same year. Dutch subsea services specialist and vessel operator N-Sea has already signed a long-term charter agreement with Mainport Shipping for the vessel. The unit will be under full commercial management and control of N-Sea, increasing the company’s fleet to 13 OSVs. ESMI has now invested more than 70% of its first fund with this transaction. It focuses on highly fuel-efficient bulker and container vessels and vessels supporting the offshore wind sector. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNetherlands
