Meratus will launch its new international CIDX service on 1 October 2026, connecting Vietnam with Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea. The inaugural sailing will depart from SP-ITC Port in Ho Chi Minh City aboard Meratus Kutai. The CIDX service will operate with the following port rotation: Ho Chi Minh City – Semarang – Surabaya – Dili – Lae – Motukea The new service will provide Vietnamese exporters and importers with an additional ocean freight option for accessing markets across Indonesia and the Southwest Pacific. Hai An Container Transport Co., Ltd. (HACT) will represent Meratus as its shipping agent in Vietnam. HACT is a member of Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company. The Vietnamese company said it will provide agency support for the service while helping strengthen maritime connectivity and meet customers’ shipping requirements.
