The subsidiary of Malaysia’s Velesto Energy, Velesto Workover, has secured two contracts from supermajor Shell to support deepwater operations offshore Sabah. The contract was awarded by Shell’s Malaysian arm, Sabah Shell Petroleum Company. The deal outlines the provision of comprehensive maintenance services for top tension risers at Shell’s tension leg platform off Sabah. According to Velesto, the scope will be delivered in partnership with the company’s principal, INVX Asia Pacific. The multi-year contracts are part of Velesto’s continued progress in expanding its integrated maintenance and engineering offerings within the upstream energy sector. “We thank Shell for their continued trust in Velesto. This reflects our expertise in supporting their offshore activities and our consistent focus on safe and efficient operations,” said Megat Zariman Abdul Rahim, president of Velesto. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsMalaysia United Kingdom
