Norwegian offshore energy services firm Aibel has signed a framework agreement for maintenance and modifications on the Goliat and Gjøa fields with Vår Energi. The framework agreement is effective from September 1, 2025, and has a duration of five years, with options for three additional two-year periods. It is estimated that the contract corresponds to around 200 full-time equivalents. Aibel’s Hammerfest office will provide resources for the work on Goliat, while the Gjøa part will mainly be handled from the Stavanger office. “[This contract] ensures local deliveries that generate activity, ripple effects, and employment in Hammerfest, making it an important element in our commitment in northern Norway,” said Marianne S.
