Oslo-listed seismic data specialist TGS has won four 4D streamer acquisition projects off Norway. According to the company, three projects will be in the North Sea while one will be done in the Barents Sea. The 4D campaign in the North Sea is scheduled to commence in the early second quarter with back-to-back scheduling and a total duration of approximately 130 days. The contract for the Barents Sea campaign is scheduled to commence in late May and last approximately 50 days. “We are experiencing higher demand for contract work on the Norwegian Continental shelf this year, compared to last.
