Equinox Nusantara Ventures (PTENV) has been awarded a long-term operations and maintenance contract for work on Indonesia’s first FLNG. PTENV, a joint venture company between FPSO Ventures and Perusahaan Pelayaran Equinox, won a contract for FLNG operations and maintenance, including mooring systems, classification compliance, and technical support. The deal also covers the operation readiness phase before O&M services for a multi-year period with extension options. “This award demonstrates our capability to execute complex operations and maintenance of floating offshore oil and gas production, processing, and storage, and marks a significant milestone in our presence in Indonesia,” the company said in a LinkedIn post. The Kasuri FLNG project is an Indonesian initiative to build a 1.2 mtpa FLNG facility, with production expected to begin in 2027 or even late 2026. It will process gas from the Asap, Merah, and Kido fields. The unit is being constructed by Wison New Energies under a $963m deal. The project’s operator is Genting Oil Kasuri, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Genting Group. When completed, the FLNG will be the 9th largest in the world. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsIndonesia Malaysia
