news Dry bulk Markets & trade Splash247
Greek bulker player DryDel Shipping has been linked to its third ultramax disposal this year. Multiple S&P sources report the Costas Dellaportas-led company is shipping out the 2012-built Dolce Vita in a deal worth about $23.5m with an undisclosed Chinese buyer. DryDel, formerly Meadway Shipping and Trading, bought the 61,600 dwt Oshima-built vessel for $24m in October 2021 as Virgo Colossus. The sale follows exits of the 2010-built 61,600 dwt Luna Rossa and 2018-built Velvet which brought in a combined total of nearly $57m. The company officially launched under a new brand in February and currently lists 12 bulkers, including the latest ship reported as sold, as well as 18 chartered-in ships and nine newbuilds set for delivery between 2024 and 2026. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsGreece
