Japanese offshore contractor Eneos Drilling has won work for one of its jackup rigs in Vietnam. The company said that the Vietnamese subsidiary of US oil and gas player Murphy Oil hired the 2013-built Hakuryu 11 rig. The contract is for four wells with additional optional wells. The work scope is estimated to start in the fourth quarter of 2025. According to Eneos Drilling’s social media, the rig will operate offshore Vung Tau.
