Middle East subsidiaries of Thai offshore specialist Mermaid Maritime have secured several project awards with a combined value of between $430m and $500m. The contracts include the delivery of a comprehensive suite of services, including diving, inspection, repairs, and maintenance. The company will also conduct subsea cable installation scopes utilising several vessels, including one of the company’s DP2 saturation DSVs, and a range of related services. According to Mermaid, some of the work has already started, as per the planned long-term contract.
