GEODIS reported €5.34 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, while maintaining profitability despite a challenging market environment. The logistics group posted EBITDA of €534 million, with an EBITDA margin of 10.0%, slightly higher than the 9.9% recorded in the first half of 2025. At constant scope and exchange rates, revenue declined 1.4% year-on-year. GEODIS said its Distribution & Express business benefited from higher volumes in France and measures to offset rising fuel costs. However, road transport operations faced weak demand across France, the United States and Europe. An exception was the Polish less-than-truckload (LTL) market, which continued to benefit from strong industrial activity. Meanwhile, the group’s contract logistics business remained stable at constant scope and exchange rates, supported by new commercial contracts. During the first half, GEODIS completed the acquisition of Transports Malherbe, strengthening its road transport network in France. The company also unified Sealogis, Sealogis Freight Forwarding and XP LOG under the GEODIS brand and opened its first multi-service port hub in Le Havre. The company also expanded its sustainability initiatives. It surpassed 200 electric vehicle charging stations across its French sites and continued the electrification of its fleet. GEODIS aims to serve the 200 largest French cities with low-emission vehicles by 2027. In healthcare logistics, GEODIS opened two temperature-controlled cross-docking facilities in Chicago and Manchester to strengthen pharmaceutical supply chains. The company also launched an express air freight service through MyGEODIS.com, targeting small and medium-sized businesses shipping parcels and pallets across Europe. Looking ahead, GEODIS said it will continue to focus on profitable growth, digitalisation, operational efficiency and low-carbon logistics under its 2026-2030 strategic plan.
