Reporting Guidance for ships transiting the Straits of Hormuz Publications Steamship Mutual Published: July 25, 2019 Contact author Download article pdf Image In response to the recent incidents in the Gulf of Oman (GOO), and the seizure of the Stena Impero in particular, the attached advice has been received via the BIMCO Maritime Security Committee about arrangements for vessel reporting in the Arabian Gulf (AG), Straits of Hormuz and GOO, and a CENTCOM link to a military initiative to increase security there.
