Malaysia’s T7 Global has reshuffled its senior leadership as the offshore and industrial services provider prepares for its next phase of growth. The company said long-time executive Tan Kay Zhuin has been redesignated as executive director, while industry veteran Azman Yakim has been appointed Group chief executive officer. Tan joined T7 Global in 2016 and rose through the ranks to lead the company from 2022. During his tenure, he drove a major expansion of the group’s energy division, strengthening its EPCC, MCM, HUC and well-services offerings. He also oversaw the development of in-house offshore assets, including a hydraulic workover unit, a drilling jackup and a mobile offshore production unit. Tan also led the company’s push into industrial solutions such as aerospace, security infrastructure and airport logistics—moves that helped boost T7 Global’s resilience and recurring revenue. Incoming chief Azman Yakim brings more than 25 years of experience from senior roles at Siemens, General Electric, Dresser-Rand and Emerson. He joined T7 Global in 2019 and heads Tanjung Offshore Services, overseeing the group’s upstream oil and gas operations. Executive chairman Tan Sri Nik Norzrul Thani said the leadership change supports “effective stewardship and continuity” as the company advances its long-term strategy. “The board acknowledges Tan’s role in strengthening our core businesses. Azman’s experience and familiarity with our operations will help ensure a smooth transition and continued operational stability,” he said. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsMalaysia
