Manila-headquartered International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) has outlined its next port development. The company will build an $800m terminal with over 2m teu capacity in Bauan, Batangas to the south of Manila on the island of Luzon. The facility will include a 900 m quay and at least eight ship-to-shore gantry cranes. Construction will start in the first quarter of next year. “With the first berth scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, the terminal will become a catalyst for economic growth across Southern Luzon, creating jobs and accelerating regional development,” the Enrique Razon-led company said in a disclosure on Monday. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsPhilippines
