Norwegian offshore service provider Archer has secured a two-year extension to its frame agreement with Equinor, covering well services on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). The contract, valued at around NOK700m ($75m), includes plug and abandonment (P&A) solutions, fishing services and downhole mechanical isolation work. The company indicated that the extension reinforced its long-standing relationship with Equinor and supported ongoing activity tied to well intervention and late-life asset management across the NCS. Nicholas Pantin, executive vice president at Archer, said the deal was strategically important “as it strengthens our position as a trusted well services and P&A provider on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and globally”. The extension adds to Archer’s backlog and improves revenue visibility over the next two years. The latest award follows another extension agreed last month, when Archer secured a separate contract with Equinor worth around $320m. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway
