The updated rates are as follows. For shipments to Kenya: USD 1,000 per 20-foot container, USD 2,000 per 40-foot container and USD 2,000 per 45-foot high-cube dry container. For shipments to Dar es Salaam: USD 1,000 per 20-foot container, USD 1,400 per 40-foot container and USD 1,400 per 45-foot high-cube dry container. The surcharge applies to non-spot bookings only and is collected in line with freight paid terms. For non-FMC bookings, the price calculation date refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation. For FMC bookings, it refers to the last container gate-in date. Other applicable surcharges, including local and contingency charges, may apply in addition to the rates above.
