CMA CGM will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS02) of US$800 per container on reefer shipments from Chile, Peru and Ecuador to North Europe. The surcharge will apply according to the following schedule: Origin Destination Cargo Effective date Amount Chile and Peru North Europe Reefer 15 October 2026 US$800 per container Ecuador North Europe Reefer 24 October 2026 US$800 per container The applicable date will be determined by the cargo loading date.
