LNG carrier pure-play Cool Company (CoolCo) has secured a new charter deal for one of its TFDE vessels. The New York and Oslo-listed owner and operator said in its quarterly earnings report that an unnamed energy major had fixed the vessel for one year, with the charter starting in the third quarter of this year. CoolCo owns nine TFDE LNG carriers, and four two-stroke vessels, of which two are set for delivery during the second half of 2024. One of the newbuilds, the Kool Panther, has already been fixed on a 14-year charter deal with India’s top gas utility GAIL, while discussions are underway to secure employment for the second vessel Kool Tiger via two formal bidding processes. The company said it is also developing leads for its other vessel redelivering late in the second half of 2024. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway
