Norway’s Remøy Shipping has secured a one-year firm charter with Equinor for the 2010-built platform supply vessel Rem Crusader. The PSV has been operating on the UK continental shelf since it joined the Remøy Shipping fleet in 2023, but the new contract will see it on duty off Norway. “The award of this contract will strengthen our position on the Norwegian sector and contribute to maintain and further develop opportunities for Norwegian seafarers,” said Karl-Johan Bakken, chief executive of Remøy Shipping. The contract with an undisclosed value starts end-July and includes an additional option period of six months. Remøy Shipping is the management company of the Remøy Group. The company operates a fleet of 11 PSVs and is also providing commercial, technical and crewing services for vessels owned by other shipowners. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway
