Offshore engineering and services player Subsea7 has won an extension from Equinor for the 2013-built Seven Viking. The deal is an extension of an existing frame agreement for subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services (IMR). This is the latest extension to the frame agreement, first signed in 2018. Under the terms of the extension, the vessel is set to stay with the Norwegian energy giant until the end of 2027 and carry out IMR services for subsea operations at Equinor’s oil and gas wells across the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Project management and engineering work will continue to be managed from Subsea7’s office in Stavanger.
