Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has won an extension and new long-term contract with Petrobras for one of its pipelay support vessels (PSLV). The new contract was won following Petrobras’ latest PLSV tender and is for the 2016-built Skandi Açu. The vessel is already contracted to Petrobras and its deal will be extended to mid-2026. This extension will be followed by the new three-year deal which is supposed to end in mid-2029. DOF also stated that its 2016-built Skandi Buzios PLSV went back on hire with Petrobras on August 1st, 2024. Both vessels are owned by Techdof, a 50-50 joint venture between DOF Subsea and offshore contracting giant TechnipFMC. “We are pleased to announce another award under this PLSV tender, adding important backlog to the group, and it confirms our long relationship with Petrobras,” said Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsBrazil Norway
