Softer pricing was evident in the sale of the Ehime Queen to Chinese buyers, resulting in a dip in our modern Capesize values. Capesize Ehime Queen (181,200 DWT, 2016, Imabari) sold to Chinese SS/DD Passed for USD 57.5 mil, VV Value USD 59.9 mil. Capesize Charm (171,000 DWT, 2003, Sasebo) sold to Chinese for USD 17.4 mil, VV Value USD 16.5 mil. Kamsarmax Seacon Anwerp (82,800 DWT, 2024, Tsuneishi Zhoushan) sold by Seacon Shipping Group for USD 42.7 mil, VV Value USD 42.5 mil. Panamax Hong Run 6 (75,900 DWT, 2001, Kanasashi) sold to Jiangsu Steamship SS/DD Due for USD 7 mil, VV Value USD 6.8 mil. Supramax Ausone (56.800 DWT, 2012, Yangzhou Guoyu) sold to Chinese for USD 13.7 mil, VV Value USD 14.1 mil.
