Kamsarmax Themis (81,900 DWT, 2012, COSCO Dalian) sold by Lavinia Bulk for USD 18 mil, VV Value USD 18.2 mil. Supramax AE Mars (53,600 DWT, 2006, Yangzhou Dayang) sold to Chinese Auction SS/DD Due for USD 9.05 mil, VV Value USD 10.1 mil. Handysize Woohyun Sky (32,300 DWT, 2010, Samho Tongyoung) sold to Chinese for USD 10.5 mil, VV Value USD 11.2 mil. Tankers: Values firmed across crude sectors this week, with older tonnage Aframax Tankers leading gains despite the recent decline in earnings. A Hormuz resolution is expected to sharpen appetite for modern tonnage, with fleet renewal demand set to accelerate as sanctioned and ageing vessels are phased out.
