ADVISORIES ARE AVAILABLE AT http://www.pancanal.com FOR ETAS OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICES, REFER TO NOTICE N-3-2023 Panama Canal Authority Vice Presidency for Operations Advisory To Shipping No. A-29-2025 October 1, 2025 TO: All Shipping Agents, Owners, and Operators SUBJECT: Extended Service Hours and Modifications to the Transit Reservation (Booking) System In response to customer feedback and in line with our commitment to continuous improvement, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) will extend the operating hours of the Transit Reservation Office effective October 5. The new hours of operation will be from 07:00 to 22:00 (local time), allowing all customers, especially those in distant time zones, to complete their transactions without having to wait until the next business day. As of this date, all transactions, including auctions, may be conducted during the extended hours. However, tie-breaker competitions held at the beginning of each competition period will continue to be conducted at their customary time. Additionally, for Booking dates beginning October 7, 2025, the closing time for Reservation Period 3 (during weekdays or weekends) will be adjusted to 15:00 (local time) for all reservation dates across the three vessel categories: Neopanamax, Supers, and Regular. These changes reflect ACP’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
