File Image / Pixabay Marine fuels firm Verde Marine Energy has renewed its ISCC certification for biofuel bunker supply. The company has renewed its ISCC EU certification and is now fully RED III compliant, the firm said in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday . The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a globally recognised certification system for sustainable supply chains, including biofuels. For bunker firms, ISCC certification serves as an assurance that the biofuels they provide meet certain quality standards. “With our certification as Trader with Storage and Proof of Compliance Trader, VME is ready to support shipowners, operators, charterers and traders with the supply of sustainable marine biofuels in line with the latest European renewable energy requirements,” the company said.
