Dutch subsea services specialist N-Sea Group has entered into an agreement with Geo Plus to long-term charter a hybrid survey and ROV support vessel Geo Ranger. The 41.6-metre vessel will accompany the Geo Focus which has been under N-Sea management and control since January 2022. The Dutch-flagged vessel is equipped with an eight-tonne A-frame suited for towing arrangements, geotechnical surveys, and other subsea activities in the North Sea, Baltic Sea, Irish Sea, and Mediterranean Sea. It is also one of the more efficient vessels around with diesel/electric propulsion for low fuel consumption, heat recovery, LED lighting, and bio-degradable oil. “With the long-term charter of the Geo Ranger N-Sea is strengthening its footprint and position in the subsea service industry, following the expansion of the offshore markets,” the company explained in a statement. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsThe Netherlands
