CS Leasing, an intermodal leasing platform managed by ITE Management, has acquired the ISO tank container fleet of Triton International. The transaction increases CS Leasing’s global fleet to nearly 70,000 ISO tank containers and dry freight specials operating across four continents. The acquisition also strengthens the company’s presence in Europe while expanding coverage across key global trade lanes. CS Leasing said the investment comes as liquid bulk supply chains continue to shift towards regional production and distribution, increasing demand for tank container equipment. Tim May, Chief Operating Officer of CS Leasing, said the expanded fleet will improve equipment availability and enable the company to respond more quickly to customer demand. Jennifer Polli, Head of Intermodal at ITE Management, said the acquisition reflects the firm’s confidence in the long-term growth of the tank container sector and its strategy to build a larger and more diversified global leasing platform. The transaction was completed through funds managed by ITE Management. Vedder advised ITE and CS Leasing, while Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP acted as legal counsel to Triton.
